Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. Express shipping takes 2-3 business days. Orders placed before 2pm PST on business days ship the same day.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free on all orders over $75. Orders under $75 ship for a flat rate of $5.95. Express shipping is $12.95 regardless of order size.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship to the United States and Canada. International shipping to select countries in Europe and Asia is coming soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we expand.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and a link to track your package in real time. You can also check your order status in your account dashboard.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We offer free returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. Sale items marked as final sale cannot be returned.
How do I start a return?
Log in to your account, go to your order history, and select the item you'd like to return. You'll receive a prepaid return label by email. Pack the item securely and drop it off at any USPS location.
Can I exchange an item for a different size?
Yes! When initiating your return, select "Exchange" and choose your preferred size. We'll ship the new size as soon as we receive your return, or immediately if the item is in stock and you'd like to be charged upfront.
Sizing & Fit
How do I find my size?
Check our size guide for detailed measurements. Each product page also includes specific fit notes and a size recommendation tool. When in doubt, we recommend sizing up — our fabrics may shrink slightly after the first wash.
What sizes do you carry?
We offer sizes XXS through XXL in most styles. We're actively working on expanding our size range and expect to offer extended sizing across all categories by the end of 2026.
Materials & Care
What materials do you use?
We primarily use GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic, Tencel lyocell, and responsibly sourced linen. Every product page lists the exact material composition.
How should I care for my Commonware clothing?
We recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle and hanging to dry when possible. This extends the life of the garment and reduces energy use. Specific care instructions are printed on each garment's label and listed on the product page.
Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also offer Afterpay for interest-free installment payments on orders over $50.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
We process orders quickly, so changes can only be made within 1 hour of placing your order. Contact us immediately at hello@commonware.com or call 1-800-COMMON. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you can return it for free.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Digital gift cards are available in amounts of $25, $50, $100, and $200. They're delivered by email and never expire.
